How to File a DMCA Takedown Notice

6. A statement that the information is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Counter-Notification (If Content Was Removed)

If your content was removed or disabled due to a DMCA claim and you believe this was an error or misidentification, you may file a valid counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. §512(g)(3) including:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the removed material and its previous location (exact URL).
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was due to mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, address, phone number, and consent to jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your district, accepting service from the original claimant.

Important: Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may restore the content within 10–14 business days unless the claimant informs us they have filed legal action.

Repeat Infringers

Accounts of users who repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights may be suspended or terminated. We also reserve the right to remove or restrict content at our discretion if it appears to infringe.

Misrepresentation

Knowingly submitting false DMCA claims or counter-notices may result in legal liability under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), including damages and attorneys’ fees. Only file a notice if you believe your claim is accurate.
